The average import price for styrene polymers; waste, parings and scraps stood at $807 per ton in 2022, picking up by 7.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the average import price increased by 22%. The import price peaked at $912 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
