In general, the export price, however, showed a mild downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2023 an increase of 28% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $1,163 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to November 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($7,119 per ton), while the average price for exports to Slovenia ($68.0 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From December 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Switzerland (+24.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 51% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $9.9M, and then fell in the following year.
