Overall, import price indicated a slight increase from March 2021 to March 2022: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.4% over the last twelve months. From August 2021 to March 2022, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In March 2022, the highest price was recorded for prices to Japan ($3,258 per ton) and China ($3,229 per ton), while the average price for exports to the United States ($2,823 per ton) and Mexico ($2,981 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to China (+1.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
