The average export price for steel, alloy stood at $1,700 per ton in November 2023, falling by -9.1% against the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a slight contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in January 2023 when the average export price increased by 110% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $3,235 per ton. From February 2023 to November 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Croatia ($3,425 per ton), while the average price for exports to India amounted to $1,455 per ton.

From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Croatia (+0.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (-4.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
