In 2022, the average export price for spices; nutmeg, neither crushed nor ground amounted to $2,059 per ton, increasing by 6.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a pronounced curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average export price increased by 34%. The export price peaked at $3,262 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
