The average import price for residues; of petroleum oils or of oils obtained from bituminous mineralses stood at $1,008 per ton in 2022, picking up by 30% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a mild setback. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $1,114 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $6,000 per ton. From 2021 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Montenegro.
From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Belgium amounted to +35.9% per year.

Over the period under review, the exports of hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.
In value terms, exports of residues; of petroleum oils or of oils obtained from bituminous mineralses amounted to $386 in 2022. In general, exports showed a remarkable increase. The smallest decline of -97.4% was in 2020. Over the period under review, the exports of attained the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
