Price for Refined Copper Tube and Pipe in Greece (FOB) - 2023
The average export price for tubes and pipes of refined copper stood at $10,390 per ton in July 2023, reducing by -2.1% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 when the average export price increased by 8.2% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $10,793 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to July 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In July 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to Sweden ($11,767 per ton) and Belgium ($10,992 per ton), while the average price for exports to France ($9,158 per ton) and Serbia ($9,546 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Israel (+1.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
