The average import price for quartz; other than natural sandses stood at $995 per ton in 2022, surging by 28% against the previous year. In general, the import price posted measured growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 96% against the previous year. The import price peaked in 2022 and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Norway ($3,838 per ton), while the price for Myanmar ($53 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
