In 2022, the average import price for propylene, other olefin polymers; propylene copolymers in primary formses amounted to $1,268 per ton, with a decrease of -17.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a pronounced decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average import price increased by 43%. The import price peaked at $1,688 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was India ($1,793 per ton), while the price for South Korea ($1,169 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by India (+1.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Rwanda (-4.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
