The average import price for propylene, other olefin polymers; propylene copolymers in primary formses stood at $1,555 per ton in November 2023, picking up by 1.5% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 3.7% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $1,791 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to November 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the near future.
