The average import price for propylene, other olefin polymers; propylene copolymers in primary formses stood at $1,281 per ton in October 2023, falling by -15.2% against the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a slight downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2023 when the average import price increased by 9.1% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $1,639 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to October 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Vietnam (+1.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
