The average export price for propylene, other olefin polymers; propylene copolymers in primary formses stood at $1,616 per ton in October 2023, growing by 4% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 8.3% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $1,675 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to October 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major external markets. In October 2023, the countries with the highest prices were the United Arab Emirates ($2,085 per ton) and Turkey ($1,830 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ukraine ($1,393 per ton) and Serbia ($1,433 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (+1.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The import price peaked at $2,075 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to October 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
