Price for Processed Petroleum Oils and Distillates in Serbia (CIF) - 2022
The average import price for processed petroleum oils and distillates stood at $481 per ton in 2022, leveling off at the previous year. Overall, the import price showed a abrupt slump. The average export price for processed petroleum oils and distillates stood at $935 per ton in November 2023, with a decrease of -11.6% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a noticeable shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2023 when the average export price increased by 14% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $1,211 per ton in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to November 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($13,333 per ton), while the average price for exports to Romania ($521 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (+22.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
