In January 2024, the average export price for polyvinyl acetate; in aqueous dispersion, in primary formses amounted to $850 per ton, stabilizing at the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a perceptible curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 an increase of 26% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $1,490 per ton. From June 2023 to January 2024, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Algeria ($2,200 per ton), while the average price for exports to Egypt ($708 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2023 to January 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Uzbekistan (+2.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The average import price for polyvinyl acetate; in aqueous dispersion, in primary formses stood at $1,560 per ton in January 2024, rising by 18% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, saw a mild contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2023 when the average import price increased by 28% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $2,241 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to January 2024, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Spain ($2,980 per ton), while the price for Egypt ($1,095 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2023 to January 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Egypt (+7.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
