The average import price for platinum; unwrought or in semi-manufactured formses stood at $20,327,880 per ton in 2022, approximately reflecting the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw a noticeable setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 92% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $36,198,890 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

From November 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Switzerland (+4.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
