In July 2023, the average plastic doors and windows import price amounted to $11.0 per unit, growing by 6.4% against the previous month. Overall, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 41% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $12.9 per unit in October 2022; however, from November 2022 to July 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Canada ($45.6 per unit), while the price for Italy ($2.3 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Malaysia (+1.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
