The average export price for plants, live; roses, grafted or nots stood at $1.4 per unit in 2022, increasing by 7.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a perceptible downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 24% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $2.2 per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($2.3 per unit), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($1.4 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Japan (-1.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In 2022, the average import price for plants, live; roses, grafted or nots amounted to $1.9 per unit, shrinking by -18.4% against the previous year. In general, the import price recorded a drastic downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 27%. The import price peaked at $3.5 per unit in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
