In December 2023, the average import price for pitch coke; obtained from coal tar or from other mineral tarses amounted to $637 per ton, waning by -19.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price saw a pronounced descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2023 when the average import price increased by 7.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $1,114 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to December 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
