In 2022, the average export price for photographic plates, film, paper, paperboard and textiles, exposed but not developeds amounted to $18 per square meter, growing by 71% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when the average export price increased by 72%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $24 per square meter. From 2017 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($18 per square meter), while the average price for exports to France ($6.9 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Switzerland (-6.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.7%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 24% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $5.8 per square meter. From 2014 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

Overall, imports continue to indicate a slight shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 45%. As a result, imports attained the peak of 50K square meters, and then contracted markedly in the following year.
