Price for Photographic Paper, Paperboard and Textiles; Sensitised, Unexposed in Ukraine (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average import price for photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds amounted to $2.5 per square meter, falling by -2.7% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, enjoyed a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 an increase of 118%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $2.6 per square meter in 2021, and then shrank modestly in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($2.6 per square meter), while the price for China ($1.2 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+27.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average export price for photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds amounted to $0.4 per square meter, dropping by -45.7% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a perceptible downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the average export price increased by 94%. The export price peaked at $1.5 per square meter in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Moldova.
From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Poland amounted to +26.9% per year.

In 2022, supplies from abroad of photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds decreased by -53% to 371K square meters, falling for the second year in a row after two years of growth. Overall, imports recorded a significant decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 2.7% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of 844K square meters. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports of failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, imports of photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds fell dramatically to $942K in 2022. In general, imports showed a precipitous decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 11% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $2.1M. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports of failed to regain momentum.

For the fourth consecutive year, Ukraine recorded growth in overseas shipments of photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds, which increased by 19% to 2.2K square meters in 2022. Overall, exports saw a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when exports increased by 2,417%. The exports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
In value terms, exports of photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds declined remarkably to $910 in 2022. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a significant expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 1,244% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports of hit record highs at $1.4K in 2021, and then fell remarkably in the following year.
