In 2022, the average import price for photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds amounted to $1.7 per square meter, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a noticeable shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 an increase of 60%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $2.6 per square meter in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Jordan ($5.7 per square meter), while the price for China ($1 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Jordan (+25.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

In 2022, the amount of photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds imported into Iraq declined modestly to 1.6M square meters, with a decrease of -5% on the previous year. Overall, imports showed a slight decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 130%. As a result, imports reached the peak of 1.7M square meters, and then fell slightly in the following year.
In value terms, imports of photographic paper, paperboard and textiles; sensitised, unexposeds declined to $2.7M in 2022. Over the period under review, imports saw a abrupt decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 130% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $3.2M in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
