The average phosphorus, arsenic and selenium import price stood at $4,513 per ton in August 2023, jumping by 26% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2022 when the average import price increased by 47% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $6,913 per ton. From October 2022 to August 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Vietnam.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Kazakhstan amounted to -2.2% per month.

The average phosphorus, arsenic and selenium export price stood at $4,726 per ton in August 2023, dropping by -3.2% against the previous month. From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (-2.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
