In July 2023, the average import price for petroleum resins, coumarone, indene or coumarone-indene resins and polyterpenes; in primary formses amounted to $1,254 per ton, standing approximately at the previous month. In general, the import price, however, showed a mild decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 an increase of 19% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $1,605 per ton in October 2022; however, from November 2022 to July 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Taiwan (Chinese) ($1,359 per ton), while the price for Japan ($1,175 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (-1.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
