The average import price for petroleum resins, coumarone, indene or coumarone-indene resins and polyterpenes; in primary formses stood at $2,100 per ton in October 2023, declining by -17.4% against the previous month. Overall, the import price recorded a slight decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in December 2022 when the average import price increased by 13% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $2,876 per ton in July 2023; however, from August 2023 to October 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was Denmark ($19,129 per ton), while the price for Taiwan (Chinese) ($1,415 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Denmark (+10.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Overall, the export price continues to indicate a noticeable shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 63% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $6,403 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Denmark ($4,056 per ton), while the average price for exports to Slovenia ($1,424 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Croatia (+5.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
