The average import price for petroleum resins, coumarone, indene or coumarone-indene resins and polyterpenes; in primary formses stood at $1,908 per ton in February 2024, picking up by 2.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a mild reduction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in March 2023 an increase of 8.2% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $2,413 per ton. From April 2023 to February 2024, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($3,333 per ton), while the price for China ($1,648 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From February 2023 to February 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Taiwan (Chinese) (+1.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

Over the period under review, the export price showed a noticeable decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in September 2023 when the average export price increased by 24% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $2,219 per ton. From October 2023 to February 2024, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In February 2024, the country with the highest price was Argentina ($2,424 per ton), while the average price for exports to Jordan ($883 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From February 2023 to February 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (+0.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
