The average export price for petroleum gases and other gaseous hydrocarbonses stood at $600 per ton in 2022, rising by 42% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, showed a noticeable setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 45% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $737 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Taiwan (Chinese) ($674 per ton), while the average price for exports to Mexico ($166 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
