In June 2023, the average import price for pectic substances; pectinates and pectateses amounted to $10,733 per ton, falling by -9.1% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated a slight increase from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.8% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, pectic substances; pectinates and pectates import price decreased by -12.8% against March 2023 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in September 2022 when the average import price increased by 58% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $14,321 per ton. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.4%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 an increase of 29% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $14,316 per ton. From 2017 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
