In 2022, the average import price for paper, cigarette; in the form of booklets or tubeses amounted to $5,550 per ton, reducing by -10.2% against the previous year. Overall, import price indicated a strong increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.1% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 an increase of 37%. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Netherlands (+3.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
