The average import price for offal, edible; of swine, (other than livers), frozen stood at $1,872 per ton in November 2023, increasing by 6.1% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.4%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 when the average import price increased by 19% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $1,947 per ton in July 2023; afterwards, it flattened through to November 2023.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices from Spain ($2,293 per ton) and Denmark ($2,061 per ton), while the price for Sweden ($1,634 per ton) and Germany ($1,663 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+5.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In general, the export price, however, saw a noticeable slump. The export price peaked at $1,428 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Estonia ($1,523 per ton), while the average price for exports to Cote d'Ivoire ($407 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Cote d'Ivoire (+6.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
