Price for Non-Refractory Ceramic Building Bricks in Belgium (FOB) - 2023

In June 2023, the average non-refractory ceramic building bricks export price amounted to $770 per thousand units, picking up by 1.8% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.5%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2022 when the average export price increased by 9.8% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $776 per thousand units in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to June 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In June 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to France ($821 per thousand units) and Ireland ($799 per thousand units), while the average price for exports to Germany ($721 per thousand units) and the Netherlands ($746 per thousand units) were amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+3.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In June 2023, the average non-refractory ceramic building bricks import price amounted to $700 per thousand units, with an increase of 3.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated strong growth from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +11.2% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, non-refractory ceramic building bricks import price increased by +25.6% against February 2023 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in July 2022 when the average import price increased by 242% month-to-month. The import price peaked in June 2023.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Denmark ($1.4 per unit), while the price for France ($404 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+26.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Exports of Non-Refractory Ceramic Building Bricks in Belgium
