The average nickel; wire, not alloyed import price stood at $23,363 per ton in 2022, shrinking by -11.3% against the previous year. Overall, the import price saw a perceptible decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the average import price increased by 25%. The import price peaked at $34,609 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
