The average export price for nickel; tubes and pipes, not alloyeds stood at $39,843 per ton in October 2023, approximately equating the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $45,832 per ton in July 2023; however, from August 2023 to October 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Japan.

From April 2023 to October 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Japan amounted to -0.8% per month.
