In 2022, the average import price for nickel mattes; nickel oxide sinters and other intermediate products of nickel metallurgies amounted to $6,527 per ton, with a decrease of -64.1% against the previous year. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a pronounced descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 62% against the previous year. Over the period under review, total imports indicated a significant expansion from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +28.4% over the last three years.
