In November 2023, the average export price for nickel; bars, rods and profiles, not alloyeds amounted to $27,145 per ton, with a decrease of -45.3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a noticeable contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in October 2023 when the average export price increased by 73% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $50,312 per ton in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to November 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($72,404 per ton), while the average price for exports to the United States ($48,049 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Switzerland (+8.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
