Price for Mixed Condiment, Sause and Seasoning in Argentina (FOB) - 2022

The average export price for mixed condiments, sauses and seasonings stood at $1,670 per ton in 2022, surging by 35% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.5%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Brazil ($8,301 per ton), while the average price for exports to Paraguay ($1,593 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Brazil (+17.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, mixed condiment, sause and seasoning exports from Argentina reached 15K tons, with an increase of 1.9% compared with the year before. Overall, exports, however, saw a deep setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 4.2% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 19K tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
