In August 2023, the average export price for metals; palladium, unwrought or in powder forms amounted to $39.3M per ton, with a decrease of -11.7% against the previous month. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a pronounced shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 8.8% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $51.6M per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to August 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($39.9M per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK amounted to $38.6M per ton.

From February 2023 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to South Korea (-3.9%).
