Price for Mammals; Live, Rabbits and Hares in the Czech Republic (CIF) - 2023

The average import price for mammals; live, rabbits and hareses stood at $5.1 per unit in July 2023, picking up by 2.6% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated a buoyant expansion from July 2022 to July 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +7.1% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on July 2023 figures, mammals; live, rabbits and hares import price decreased by -0.6% against April 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2022 when the average import price increased by 89% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $5.2 per unit in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to July 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Poland ($5.3 per unit), while the price for Slovakia ($4.8 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+9.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
