The average import price for lubricating oil additives; containing petroleum oils or oils obtained from bituminous mineralses stood at $4,118 per ton in November 2023, growing by 1.7% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a slight slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 an increase of 10% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $4,908 per ton in July 2023; however, from August 2023 to November 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($6,262 per ton), while the price for China ($3,252 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+1.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

Over the period under review, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in September 2023 an increase of 14% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $6,152 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to November 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was South Korea ($11,560 per ton), while the average price for exports to Taiwan (Chinese) ($3,129 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+7.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
