Price for Liquefied Petroleum Gases Other than Propane, Butanes, Ethylene, Propylene, Butylene or Butadiene in Serbia (FOB) - 2022

The average export price for liquefied petroleum gases other than propane, butanes, ethylene, propylene, butylene or butadienes stood at $388 per ton in 2022, waning by -4.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate mild growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 an increase of 152%. The export price peaked at $819 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to North Macedonia ($967 per ton) and Montenegro ($954 per ton), while the average price for exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina ($806 per ton) and Croatia ($934 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Croatia (-0.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In general, the import price saw a resilient increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 50% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $748 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the countries with the highest prices were Romania ($766 per ton) and Poland ($758 per ton), while the price for Croatia ($661 per ton) and the Czech Republic ($686 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Romania (+6.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
