The average lecithins and other phosphoaminolipids import price stood at $1,760 per ton in November 2023, surging by 9.5% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in May 2023 an increase of 36% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $2,500 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to November 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($9,352 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands ($1,196 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belarus (+9.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
