The average knives with cutting blades import price stood at $1.2 per unit in 2022, approximately reflecting the previous year. In general, the import price saw a mild reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the average import price increased by 74% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $2.2 per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($3.2 per unit), while the price for China ($0.7 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+9.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
