Overall, the export price saw a perceptible shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 3.6% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $775 per ton. From May 2023 to August 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major foreign markets. In August 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to Finland ($668 per ton) and Estonia ($664 per ton), while the average price for exports to Denmark ($656 per ton) and Sweden ($660 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From February 2023 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Estonia (0.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
