Price for Inorganic Oxygen Compounds of Non-Metals in Malaysia (FOB) - 2021
The average export price for inorganic oxygen compounds of non-metals stood at $805 per ton in December 2021, shrinking by -94.9% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, recorded a modest expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in June 2021 an increase of 3,743% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $31,706 per ton. From July 2021 to December 2021, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Singapore ($2,173 per ton), while the average price for exports to Vietnam amounted to $418 per ton.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Vietnam (+1.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average import price for inorganic oxygen compounds of non-metals stood at $818 per ton in December 2021, with a decrease of -45.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2021 when the average import price increased by 114% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $1,493 per ton, and then declined sharply in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2021, the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($1,887 per ton), while the price for Australia ($504 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Vietnam (+11.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Exports of Inorganic Oxygen Compounds of Non-Metals in Malaysia
In 2022, exports of inorganic oxygen compounds of non-metals from Malaysia declined notably to 4.9K tons, reducing by -28.9% on the year before.
