The average import price for imides and their derivatives; other kinds, excluding saccharins stood at $4,281 per ton in 2022, remaining constant against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a resilient expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average import price increased by 134%. The import price peaked at $4,591 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was India ($4,514 per ton), while the price for China totaled $3,748 per ton.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+14.1%).

Over the period under review, imports of reached the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 304%. Over the period under review, imports of attained the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.
