In 2022, the average import price for halides and halide oxides of non-metals; excluding chlorides amounted to $22,939 per ton, shrinking by -9.4% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate notable growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 132%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $37,744 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, the average export price for halides and halide oxides of non-metals; excluding chlorides amounted to $39,085 per ton, with an increase of 48% against the previous year. Overall, the export price enjoyed pronounced growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the average export price increased by 152% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Georgia ($49,144 per ton), while the average price for exports to Russia amounted to $17,735 per ton.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Georgia (+1.6%).
