The average gearboxes and speed changers import price stood at $8,687 per ton in 2022, waning by -18.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a deep reduction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 29%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $22,825 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was France ($223,247 per ton), while the price for China ($6,287 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
