In 2022, the average import price for frozen raspberries, blackberries, mulberries, loganberries, black-, white- or red currants and gooseberrieses amounted to $1,998 per ton, with an increase of 9.9% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, showed a mild curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when the average import price increased by 37%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $3,024 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Morocco ($7,337 per ton), while the price for Namibia ($1,077 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+4.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 an increase of 34%. The export price peaked at $3,674 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Zimbabwe ($3,771 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($1,563 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+13.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
