Price for Flours and Meals; of Soya Beans in Serbia (FOB) - 2024

In September 2023, the average export price for flours and meals; of soya beanses amounted to $1,165 per ton, falling by -3.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a slight downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 an increase of 2.9% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $1,289 per ton. From May 2023 to September 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major export markets. In September 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Spain ($1,327 per ton) and Algeria ($1,324 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($1,022 per ton) and Bulgaria ($1,089 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From January 2023 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+0.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
