The average import price for flours and meals; of soya beanses stood at $1,311 per ton in September 2023, approximately reflecting the previous month. Over the period from November 2022 to September 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 an increase of 17% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $1,472 per ton. From June 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Serbia.
From November 2022 to September 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Italy amounted to +2.3% per month.

In 2022, the average export price for flours and meals; of soya beanses amounted to $1,142 per ton, approximately equating the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price showed a perceptible contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when the average export price increased by 29% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $1,805 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
