In 2022, the average fish; live, ornamental, freshwater import price amounted to $18,821 per ton, increasing by 12% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a noticeable descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 36% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $28,038 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (+0.2%).
